His work has an undeniable energy of intrigue and reassurance. I am an attorney and especially enjoy his Perry Mason work. I very much wish to hang in my office any prints that might be available for purchase. I can be reached at gmeell44@gmail.com if his son or anyone else that might be helpful might be kind enough to contact me. Best Regards, Gregory J. A tough and solitary existence for a truly dedicated professional.Congrats to you and James jr.Remonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18907156.post-84207616883776980942011-06-15T14:45:20.753-04:002011-06-15T14:45:20.753-04:00"Many of the artists in the Society were what..."Many of the artists in the Society were what Dad considered not illustrators, but fine artists. Some, for example, took months to complete an assignment whereas Dad, in the same amount of time, would complete many assignments."

It must have been a very small group of illustrators who took months to complete an assignment, as they would surely have starved to death before even the first month ended.

But if it was possible, that's the job I want; anyone who could live for months off the proceeds from a single illustration must be one heck of an illustrator!

Thanks for this treatment of Bingham, Leif. He was an excellent illustrator.David Apatoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11293486149879229016noreply@blogger.com
