And speaking of flaws...

What the heck's up with my blog?!? My sidebar has become a bottom bar. Its way down there, at the bottom, under all the displayed posts! How'd that happen?

If you have any idea how to fix this, please, let a poor technological luddite know. I miss my sidebar!

    Hi Leif,

The images in your flickr set that have a horizontal aspect are most likely responsible for forcing the sidebar to the bottom of the page.

This happens when an image is larger than the box or element it is placed inside. It forces that box/sidebar to grow in size. To accomodate that increase in size, the sidebar has to disappear to the bottom to fit everything on the page without it overlapping.

I hope that makes sense! Once those images aren't in your flickr set it should return to normal.

    John.

  3. Well ok, John - thanks for that! I'll wait a few days and see if it doesn't sort itself out once the posts move down the page.

  4. i had the same problem for awhile. it's the pictures you posted in the sidebar for your flickr archives that's doing it, not the images you posted. you either need to shrink or delete them and it should resolve it. hope that helps!

  6. Aha! ok - thanks, jayenti! I'll try using a smaller flickr thumbnail sidebar thingy and see if that does the trick.

    I appreciate the advice.
