What you see below was in one of the 20 or so volumes. From "The Tower of Babel" by Morris A. West, RDCB, 1969.

These illustrations are by Robert Baxter, an artist previously unknown to me. A quick search on Google turned up a photo, a short bio and a wealth of Baxter's recent paintings! Click here to have a look.
great illustrations, great post!
ReplyDeleteReally cool images, thanks for posting them
ReplyDeleteSo I guess that's the end of Today's Inspiration as we knew it.Bye Leif it's been fun.
ReplyDeleteBlogs have a live-cycle of their own. I have watched a few appear and disappear, and in only a few cases any explanatory statement for the disappearance had been provided.
ReplyDeleteC'est les blogs, probably.
C'est la vie.
Today's Inspiration remains a priceless treasure though...
Sigh...
...p.s: wrong spelling - it should read life-cycle...
ReplyDeleteLeif,
ReplyDeleteToday's Inspiration was the best blog I followed. Thanks for all the great inspiration. Good luck.
Wes
