It's always fun to look "Nina" in his drawings.
Hirschfeld = Pure greatness. There is nobody to compare him to, then, now, or ever.
Thank you for posting. It is always a joy to see Hirschfeld's work.
Life-long Hirschfeld devotee here. Will never be another like him. The man had one of the greatest dream jobs known to humankind.
I have to say that that Elvis piece is probably his biggest miss. I have to assume it's because there wasn't a ton of photo ref' on E around in 1956.
Almost all of those Collier pieces are brand new to my eyes. Huge thanks Leif.
