During Harry Devlin's ten year association with Collier's magazine, he was often called upon to create editorial cartoons that graced the back page of each weekly issue.
Here once again, Devlin demonstrated his admirable range - from more realistic, serious and illustrative...

... to outright zany.
Devlin generally reserved his most hilarious stylings for those occasions when he was called upon to illustrate Collier's popular "Q&A" series of articles.
Here are a few more for your amusement. In my opinion, they'd have felt just as at home in the pages of Mad magazine as in Collier's.
